HES Update April 2019

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our very own Skills Fest at the Heritage Skills Centre on the first weekend of June! Come along to meet traditional craftspeople and see them demonstrate their fantastic skills in the built heritage sector - you can even have a go yourself!

You can choose from a variety of traditional buildings skills to wonder at such as joinery, stone masonry, archaeology, slate making and earth building with some more specialisms still to be announced!

The HES trainees from Lincoln Cathedral and Heritage Lincolnshire will also be there to display their new abilities and talk about their experiences training in the HES programme. We will also be launching our next stage of traineeships that will be due to start in Summer/ Autumn 2019. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about the project, which is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and talk to the trainers to see if one of our future placements is for you.

You can follow updates about the event on Facebook or on our webpage and please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
