HES Update October 2018

We can officially announce that all our 2018 trainees are now working with their training providers, our partners, Lincoln Cathedral and Heritage Lincolnshire. If you work within the heritage sector in the East Midlands and would like to pass on your skills to a trainee with the help of the HES project, please get in touch to be considered for our 2019 training placements.

A big welcome to our latest trainees, Maeya, Laabiyah and Asa, who joined Heritage Lincolnshire and Archaeological Project Services at the end of last month. They will be training within the Archaeology and Buildings Trust Preservation Management skill areas, learning valuable skills that will support the heritage sector in years to come.

All three of our Cathedral trainees have now started their respective NVQs in Joinery and Stone Masonry and are well on their way to advancing their own careers in historic environment skills.
