Craft your own eye dazzling light catchers.

On this one day workshop you will create two different stained glass designs, a feather and a mondrian inspired panel. You will work using the copper foiling technique, which was developed in the 1890's by the Tiffany Studios and is ideal for items such as light catchers, mirrors, and light shades. During your practical workshop you will choose your glass from a range provided, then move on to learn the skills of cutting glass using a pattern as a guide. The next stage will be focused on grinding the cut glass pieces before copper foiling them. Finally you will solder your glass completing you stained glass item and it will then be ready for you to take home and display or gift.
