Stained Glass: Things with Wings

Create your own eye dazzling light catcher.

On this half day workshop you will create a stained glass design from a small number of options focusing on "things with wings". You will work using the copper foiling technique, which was developed in the 1890's by the Tiffany Studios and is ideal for items such as light catchers, mirrors, and light shades. During your practical workshop you will choose your glass from a range provided, then move on to learn the skills of cutting glass using a pattern as a guide. The next stage will be focused on grinding the cut glass pieces before copper foiling them. Finally you will solder your glass completing your stained glass item so it will be ready for you to take home and display or gift.

Includes all tools and materials you need during the workshop.
