Discover medieval embroidery with animals!

In the final class in the series on medieval embroidery, we return to the Opus Anglicanum technique but looking at animals in medieval embroidery this time. Sarah will guide you step by step through split stitch fillings, surface couching and surface stitching with gold threads on an Opus Anglicanum inspired animal design of your own, in this one day introduction to medieval embroidery.

Level: Suitable for those new to the Opus Anglicanum technique or those wishing to brush up on their embroidery skills. 


The course will run from 10:00 to 16:00.

This course is suitable for beginners age 16 +.  Please wear comfortable, casual clothes with closed toe shoes.
