Do I have wear a face covering?
We advise that face coverings are worn in our indoor spaces and that you 'check in' using the NHS test and trace scheme.

The expiry date on annual passes will be extended to cover the closure of the attractions although you may still get a reminder asking you to renew. If you would like to know your new expiry date, please contact Lincoln Castle.

Are the grounds and attractions suitable for wheelchairs?
Yes, however the entrance via East gate does have a lot of cobbles due to the nature of the old building.

What safety and hygiene measures have you put in place as a result of Covid-19?

  • Our site risk assessment is displayed at the East Gate entrance in our reception window.
  • Hourly cleaning with anti-viral cleaners and wipes.
  • Hand sanitising stations are available throughout the site.
  • Signage on site to remind visitors to uphold social distancing when relaxing in our grounds and enjoying our attractions.

How is my safety and that of the staff being managed in the café?
The safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors is our priority. To ensure that social distance is maintained we will be implementing the following: One-way queuing system to place orders and to collect orders. Staff will have had training prior to opening to ensure they operate in the safest way possible. Hand sanitiser will be available and visitors will be encouraged to use it.
