Langton's Catering

You can now pre-order your lunch from our Langton's Cafe. Langton's Cafe is situated within Lincoln Castle and offers a wide array of locally sourced food.

Coach parking

Coach parking is not available in the castle grounds but there is a coach drop off point five minutes walk from the castle at Northgate (next to The Lincoln Hotel) LN2 1PN. Drop offs do not need to be pre-booked. Coach parking is available at the following sites:

£6 per day. Use of coach wash and disposal £6 extra. Canteen, drivers rest area, toilet, secure area for parking plus fill PCV workshop facilities.

Incentives

We offer a free ticket for the group leader and coach driver, which can be used on another visit.

Guided tours

We offer private guided tours of the castle's inner bailey for up to 30 visitors at a time of your choice.

We can tailor the content of these to your requirements and specialist subject tours are available.

The cost of a private guided tour is £80.00 per tour and a minimum of four weeks' notice is required.

Alternatively group members can join any of our regular guided tours, which run at set times throughout the day. (Castle Day ticket holders eligible only.)

Access

The Prison and David P J Ross Magna Carta Vault are fully accessible and equipped with lifts. The East Wall of the Medieval Wall Walk has a lift and is accessible to wheelchair users.

Catering

Situated in the former Georgian Gaol, our cafe Langton's, has capacity for 50 visitors spread across several rooms; there is also outdoor seating available. Group catering options are available to book in advance.

We can offer reserved use of indoor and outdoor spaces to meet the needs of your group up to a maximum of 25 per sitting.

These reservations are not available on peak days such as event days, weekends or school holidays.

Exclusive catering will depend on group size and requirements. Alternatively, catering can be pre-booked on a free-flow basis.

Hospitality

We can offer exclusive evening hire for a variety of functions, ranging from canapés and drinks to gala dinners.

These events can include a private viewing of the David P J Ross Magna Carta Vault and the Victorian Prison.
