Explore the grounds, enjoy the views from the Medieval Wall Walk, discover the archaeology displays and visit the Magna Carta Vault. Enter the Victorian Prison and discover what life was like for those that were held there.
Join our storyteller for tales of King Herla and the unwise deal he makes with a hooded figure on the road, and the incredible story of Victorian Admiral Tryon and his tragic error at sea. There are stories of vessels with unwelcome shipmates and of medicines to make your toes curl! From ancient legends to ghostly drummers of old England, there’s a chill in the air at Lincoln Castle this Half Term week.
Don’t forget to collect your spooky castle activity sheet and be prepared to discover some gruesome finds!
And if you are visiting us on Saturday 25 October, why not join in our Fun and Fierce Dragon Making workshop with artist Mel Langton.
Taking inspiration from our resident dragons, and suitable for all the family to enjoy, create colourful and fearsome dragon streamers, with multicoloured scales and dazzling tails. The workshop is at a cost of £3 per participant and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Hourly sessions will run throughout the day with limited availability – booking in advance is essential to guarantee your place! Book now
