Join us at Lincoln Castle for nine days of immersive family friendly discovery, where history is brought to life inside the atmospheric Victorian Prison. Meet our Victorian News Reporter as he investigates the true stories of prisoners once held at the Castle and shares their tales throughout the day.
Pick up your very own Lincoln Castle Gazette, a Victorian style newspaper with space to sketch, write and record what you discover. With clipboards and pencils at the ready, young visitors can become reporters, editors, and illustrators as they follow the stories and create their own front page.
Explore the Prison, discover the Castle grounds and uncover Lincolnshire’s past in the archaeology displays.
All activities are included with a standard Castle Day ticket, making it a full day out of history, creativity and adventure for the whole family.
