Frequency Festival of Light, Play and Discovery
This February half term, wrap up warm and get ready for three magical evenings as Frequency Festival returns to Lincoln from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 February 2026. Running daily from 5.30pm to 9.30pm, the festival will transform the city into a glowing playground of light, sound and imagination, perfect for families looking for something a bit different after dark. In the castle grounds you can see our much-loved dragon sculptures come alive with a new immersive spectacle created especially for Frequency by ITHACA Studios. See fire-coloured trails of light blaze across the lawns creating a colourful sound and light show within the shadow of the historic castle walls.
