Coins of the Conquest showcases a remarkable collection of coins minted in Lincoln during the reigns of Edward the Confessor, Harold II and William the Conqueror. Discover how these coins reflect a period of dramatic change in English history and explore their connections to the famous Bayeux Tapestry. Part of the nationwide Bayeux Around Britain programme, this fascinating display can be seen alongside Lincoln Castle’s 1215 Magna Carta and runs until March 2027.
